Well, i don't really have time to go out and read lot of slashdotthreads lately, still forum@xfree86.org is the natural place fordiscussing this, which is why i am porting this disussion here. Will read the slashdot thread tomorrow morning.Friendly,Sven Luther

Considering how poorly Slashdot normally covers anything XF86, I gotta admit that they've done a great job here. I want to be on the record for commending and recommending Slashdot this time. Perhaps after saying this it will fall into their normal tabloid fashion (low facts, lows of uninformed commentary) but right now they are doing swell.
Newsforge has been piss-poor here; hard to believe that they and Slashdot are related. What is the story between those two organizations? How do they work? I really don't understand that relationship.
Regards,
Georgina
