[forum] Help with configuration please!

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for configuration
support, but hopefully someone reading this might be able to help me.

Linux:    Slackware 9.0 with XFree 4.3
Card:     NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with 128 MB
Monitor:  Tandberg ErgoScan LCD17AEE, 1280x1024 @ 60Hz

I'm using the digital connection (DVI-D) between the computer and the
monitor.

I'm trying many different configuration in /etc/X11/XF86Config, but what
ever I try, the screen just goes black. It's just like the screen is not
connected. Everything works nice in console mode.

Can amyone give me a hint of what to put in my XF86Config file? Do I
need another driver/server?

xf86cfg doesn't work either, and if I use xf86config I only det the
black screen.
